Hibiscus Stables was founded in 2003 by three long-time friends who share a passion for Thoroughbred racing, winning and excellence. Our goal is to assemble a large stable of quality Thoroughbreds capable of competing at the highest levels of racing. Our commitment is unwavering. We will return to the spring 2-year-old-in-training sales in search of quality racing stock.
We’ve retained the services of two top New York-based trainers, Steve Klesaris 2007: (437 122 .28) and Linda Rice 2007: (440 60 .14), top California-based trainer Ron Ellis 2007: (193 37 .19) and bloodstock specialist Diane Allen, who will advise us in the purchasing process. Indeed, all three trainers have offered to take a 10% equity stake in every horse they train for us. This speaks volumes to their level of commitment to Hibiscus and their belief in our program. This says nothing less than our trainers putting their money where their mouths are and not only working for us, but partnering with us.
If we receive interest from potential investors located in other areas of the country we’ll leverage our relationships with other expert trainers based at other major circuits and purchase additional horses with an eye towards running them at other tracks.
