Part of Vintage 2015. This outstanding colt is a half-brother to a multiple 2-year-old winner of 2014. He's by a sire that's produced a champion and G1 winners and by a multiple stakes-placed mare.

This horse was individually selected for Hibiscus Stables by renouned horseman Greg Gilchrist. Greg said, "Anyone that didn't do their homework didn't know about the huge catalog update for this horse. After the catalog was printed his 2-year-old half-brother rattled off 2 wins from 2 starts. I know that horse's trainer, Jedd Josephson, and I spoke with him about that colt. He said that he is a medium sized horse but he's a real runner. He said he likes that horse a great deal and that ours looks a lot like him. I then went and gave our colt a good look and I really liked him. He's got the excellent balance that I always look for in a horse. He's also very correct from a conformation standpoint with a nice frame. He has an excellent demeanor and good presence. He seems to be very intelligent. Perhaps the thing that attracted me more than anything else was his nice big walk. A horse this nice being a Cal-bred that will run in restricted company makes him a very nice addition to the barn."

This colt has a "B" nick. He's inbred 3x4 to Seattle Slew, 4x5 to Northern Dancer, and 4x5 to Secretariat. Historically, for this mating, sons of Storm Cat bred to Deputy Minister mares, have produced 14 stakes winners (7%) and G2 winner Teeth of the Dog.
