Gleaming Brutality breezed on Sunday working 3 furlongs on the dirt in 38.80 at Delaware Park. That work was 2 of 2 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Steve Klesaris after the breeze. He said, "She worked well this morning. I'm pointing her to a race next week at The Meadowlands."
Steve will train She's Awesome to her next race which could be the $8,000 Claiming N1Y going 5 furlongs on the turf at The Meadowlands on October 13.

Gleaming Brutality raced to her second consecutive victory at Delaware Park on Saturday. Breaking from post 3, Gleaming Brutality broke out then was allowed to settle early, came three-wide into the stretch, angled in leaving the three-sixteenths pole, took the lead at the eighth pole and held a safe advantage.
We spoke with trainer Steve Klesaris after the race and Steve said, “She looked good getting it done today. She’s starting to put it all together.”
We also spoke with Hibiscus Stables CEO Mike Oliveto after the race. Mike said, “It’s nice that we have identified her level and she’s now rewarding us with success. Two wins in a row is always fun. It’s very nice for the partners.”
Gleaming Brutality earned $8,400 for Saturday’s win.
We’ll see how Gleaming Brutality comes out of the race and Steve will point her accordingly.
