Rebel Empire breezed on Wednesday working 5 furlongs from the gate on the dirt in 1:01.16 at Penn National. That work was 1 of 1 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Jeff Englehart after the breeze. He said, "He worked very well this morning. He's entered next week at Finger Lakes and he's raedy to go."
Rebel Empire is entered to run in the $5,000 Claiming N2Y going 6 furlongs at Finger Lakes on June 10.

Rebel Empire breezed on Wednesday working 5 furlongs from the gate on the dirt (good) in 1:02.02 at Penn National. That work was the bullet of 4 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Jeff Englehart after the breeze. He said, "He worked very well this morning.
He's ready to go. We're looking for a race for him that goes after May 29."
Jeff will keep Rebel Empire fresh as until the end of the month and then we'll look to enter to a $5,000 claiming race.
