Rebel Empire breezed on Saturday working 4 furlongs on the dirt in 49.60 at Tampa Bay Downs. That work was 31 of 81 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Jeff Englehart after the breeze. He said, "He breezed very well this morning and galloped out great. I'm planning to enter him to the beaten $5,000 Claiming race next week.
Jeff will enter Rebel Empire to the $5,000 Claiming B going 6 1/2 furlongs at Tampa Bay Downs on December 13.
November 12
Rebel Empire breezed on Wednesday working 4 furlongs on the dirt (muddy) in 51.30 at Finger Lakes. That work was 12 of 14 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Jeff Englehart after the breeze. He said, "He worked nicely this morning. He did everything we asked of him. He's all set for his race next week."
