El Orejon breezed on Friday working 4 furlongs on the synthetic in 51.67 at Gulfstream Park. That work was 10 of 12 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Steve Klesaris after the breeze. He said, "He breezed well this morning. It was just a maintenance work. His race at Tampa Bay didn't go so now I'm looking at a spot at Gulfstream."
Steve will keep El Orejon fresh as he points him to his next race.

El Orejon breezed on Saturday working 4 furlongs on the dirt in 49.65 at Gulfstream Park. That work was 45 of 70 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Steve Klesaris after the breeze. He said, "He worked well. I'll be entering him next week to a race at Tampa Bay."
Steve will point El Orejon to the $25,000 Starter Allowance going 6 furlongs at Tampa Bay Downs on April 22.
