Antonio of Venice breezed on Tuesday working 5 furlongs on the dirt in 1:04.40 over the Belmont Park Training Track. That work was 4 of 7 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Rudy Rodriguez after the breeze. He said, "He worked well this morning. I wanted to breeze him in a few days but the weather is supposed to be bad so I worked him today instead. It was just a leg-stretcher. I worked him 4 furlongs in 50 and change but they recorded it as a 5 furlong work. I'll look to work him again next week and then maybe look for a race for him."
Rudy will breeze Antonio of Venice on a 7-day breeze schedule preparing him for his next race.

Antonio of Venice breezed on Friday working 5 furlongs on the dirt in 1:00.26 over the Belmont Park Training Track. That work was 2 of 18 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Rudy Rodriguez after the breeze. He said, "He worked well this morning. He's doing well. We've been trying to get him entered but so far they have not used the race. We're trying again today. Hopefully they use the race."
Rudy will enter Antonio of Venice to the $50,000 Claiming B going 7 furlongs at Aqueduct on February 19.
