Rebel Empire breezed on Tuesday working 4 furlongs on the dirt in 47.65 at Penn National. That work was 8 of 25 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Jeff Englehart after the breeze. He said, "He breezed very well this morning. He's doing great. I entered him yesterday and I'm going to enter him again today. Hopefully the race will be used."
Jeff will enter Rebel Empire to the Allowance N1R going 5 furlongs at Finger Lakes on May 6.

Rebel Empire breezed on Tuesday working 4 furlongs on the dirt in 50.02 at Penn National. That work was 13 of 20 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Jeff Englehart after the breeze. He said, "He worked excellently this morning. He's doing great and he's 4 1/2 furlongs fit right now. I'm going to see how he comes out of the breeze and then decide if I enter or work him one more time."
Jeff will weigh options for entering Rebel Empire to his return race.
