Lively Pal breezed on Tuesday working 5 furlongs from the gate on the dirt in 1:01.40 over the Belmont Park Training Track. That work was the bullet of 5 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Chris Englehart after the breeze. Chris said, "She worked nicely out of the gate. She broke perhaps a step slow but went well. After the breeze she was still a little winded and she drank a lot of water. She probably got her gate card today and I estimate that she'll need perhaps 2 more and then she should be ready for the first Maiden Special Weight at Saratoga."
Chris will breeze Lively Pal on a 7-day breeze schedule preparing her for her debut which could be the Maiden Special Weight going 6 furlongs at Saratoga on July 5.

Lively Pal breezed on Thursday working 4 furlongs from the gate on the dirt in 48.00 over the Belmont Park Training Track. That work was 5 of 90 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Chris Englehart after the breeze. He said, "She worked extremely well this morning. She's coming along perfectly. I couldn't be more pleased."
Chris will breeze Lively Pal on a 7-10 day breeze schedule preparing her for her debut in New York.
