Pinetown Road breezed on Thursday working 4 furlongs on the dirt in 49.77 over the Belmont Park Training Track. That work was 40 of 61 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Joe Sharp after the breeze. Joe said, "She went well. I wanted to give her a work over the traditional dirt before entering her. She's doing great and I plan to enter her tomorrow for her race at Aqueduct."
Joe will enter Pinetown Road to the Maiden Special Weight going 5 1/2 furlongs at Aqueduct on June 18.
June 3
Pinetown Road breezed on Wednesday working 5 furlongs on the synthetic in 1:03.20 at Turfway Park. That work was 9 of 10 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Joe Sharp after the breeze. He said, "She went OK. I’m sending her to Belmont this week to get a work in on the dirt. She's still on target for the race later this month."
Joe will breeze Pinetown Road on a 7-day breeze schedule preparing her for her debut which should be the Maiden Special Weight going 5 1/2 furlong at Aqueduct on June 18.
